Hey!

I'm 24, have diffused thinning and started recently going on big 3 - I've noticed that the minoxidil and nizoral really make my scalp itchy and flaky (crazy dandruff)! Also nizoral makes my hair so dry

I tried adding coconut oil to my routine but it made me shed

What advice do you guys have?

Do you guys have advice for a good conditioner that'd work with nizoral?

Thanks!

Just use a delicate conditioner. In my experience it is difficult that one is better than another. @kj6723 has one to suggest but I did not like it.

OGX's thick and full biotin and collagen conditioner works wonders on my hair texture. I apply it liberally and leave in my hair 3-4 minutes every day after washing my hair. It counteracts nizoral drying great. Here in the US they sell it at walmart and other such stores, or you can buy it online

I know others here including Roberto tried it and did not enjoy it as much as me....I think different conditioners work better for different hair types. I endorse giving this one a try, as I love it

Thanks! I was originally going to go for regenpure, but then decided I don't want to spend 25 bucks on it. I will go with OGX cause I've had good experience with their products in the past

kj6723 I was going to ask you (sorry for going a bit off topic) about your night routine - how do you apply tretinoin before minoxidil? I bought lipogaine for that reason but would rather go generic and do it myself. Thanks!

I apply the tretinoin gel in my receded temple spots and through the front of my hairline. After this I usually wait about 20 minutes and then apply my minoxidil/peppermint oil mix.

that's about all there is to it

I don't think it's a big deal how far apart in time you apply the tretinoin and minoxidil, from what I've read, but who knows
