I have the side effects: harder to get an erection, sperm is a little watery, and my pecs are starting to feel tender. The tenderness scares me most, should I just quit, I'm 22. I'm currently splitting the 5 mg into fours

Pac I think you might be playing head games with yourself instead of playing with yourself. HAHA.

I would keep on it for at least a month and see if 1mg is really throwing off your body chem. Again, studies show that fewer than 3% have negatives issues. If it does not work, ok, try something else.

Here's a more intelligent response (Which comes from personal experience from doing medical studies)

People who do medical studies usually do not report side effects (myself included.)

Throw the percentages out the window. Basically the drug won't kill you is all you glean from these studies, which is the important thing anyhow.

Drink soy milk, the receptors in the breasts will be occupied by the soy isoflavones, which are much less estrogenic than estrogen.

At 6'3" 160, I'm use to being sized up. :). Like FC was saying this is hardly a life changing pill but you should see a Doctor first before taking any type of pill. Get the "brand" name finasteride from Merck for a few months and then switch it up if you wish. Quite a few members on here have without any problems. Some have. Some have not. With any med, it's a gamble on how your body reacts. Luck is provability taken personally and stats follow along in suite.

It's definitely not in my head, i know a pain in my tit when i feel it, is this a side that goes away like some of the others, or does it usually develop more?

Your body has to adjust to the drug and sides tend to fade after a few weeks and semen and erection get back to normal. If sides continue for more than a few weeks then consider lowering dose.

I experience libido up and down and semen issue etc but stabilised after a few weeks. I only got a slight chest tender on dutasteride but that also went away.

I had the pain in the chest and was also told to expect it! It went after 2 weeks!! ( boots pharmcy hair loss scheme), talked it all through, im 21 and have no problems with libido or getting it up! its still there every morning to great me

Just ride it through its your body's way of telling you its altering the hormone levels, it just shows somethings working, The tissue you on your chest is very sensitive just think of it as an internal monitor, and its letting you know its working

Good Luck
