This theory is popping up everywhere these days. Many people hold this belief, a lot of none-experts on youtube firmly believe this, my friends say this. It's everywhere.

Is there any connection whatsoever to beard growth, or being able to grow beard early, and hair loss? If this is true one of my best friends should be bald my now since he is the hairest person I know, and he is a nw1 with his hairline being very low...he has almost no forehead.

Yes pretty basic. DHT causes male pattern baldness and also causes body hair growth, such as beard growth. If you have more DHT you're more likely to manifest both traits.

Only if your body hair is sensitive to androgens. Maybe there is a higher chance that if the hair on your head is sensitive your body hair will be too. But I've seen countless of straight up NW7's with almost no body hair, it's just as common IMO.

If there is a connection, it must be mild.
Look at the hipsters. Good hair. Long beard.

Hmm, not necessarily. That depends on how well DHT levels in scalp hair follicles are correlated with DHT levels in body hair follicles.

The theory is not much if you have beard, it's how early you were able to grow a full beard. If it was early, before 18, you have a bigger chance to get male pattern baldness...according to the theories.

Yesterday I was bored and searched for lists for countries which highest rate of hair loss. All ten countries were european.

number 1 was Czech republic, this one i remember for sure. UK was at number 5, Germany at 4. Poland somewhere there as well, France, Italy too. Cant remember the rest but all lists i checked were almost only european countries.

I'm pretty sure that this isn't even actually measured properly.
