hey,

coming to that point in my life where i'm losing my hair. its not psychologically affecting me but its more the case of me having an option to grow my hair if i want to thats frustrating.

based on the attached picture is it possible for someone to give me a breakdown of how bad my hairloss is on the hairloss scale (norwood) and what would be best suited for me to do or take to attempt to stop the hairloss process of potentially reverse it.

thanks in advance guys

Don't know which norwood. You have your hairline, so propecia and minoxidil could work for you with good results. That's my opinion.

Well you're not actually receded too badly yet, the thing is your hair behind the hairline is all very thin, you could go to NW3/4 in a matter of months if you don't do anything.

I would just jump on propecia and nizoral if I were you.

I don't like minoxidil nor do I 100% trust it, but you could put that in there too if you want to.

good on you that it is not affecting you psychologically! like everyone else has already said, propecia will be a good start and if it works, thats great ..if not, you can always add minoxidil later in your regime!

Thanks guys. I've been looking at propecia but the side affects are kinda pushing me back from taking it. What's your opinion on it guys?

I've been on proscar 1.25mg a day (it has the same active ingredient as propecia, finasteride) for 5 months and have no side effects. My derm told me that side effects are rare, especially if you are young

The most impressive regrowth cases I've seen the hair loss looked like yours so maybe it's not too late for you.
