Oral minoxidil: anyone able to grow facial hair which you barely could before?

I've been taking oral minoxidil for 2 weeks now and so far no results on both scalph and face (yet). I wonder if anyone who could barely grow facial hair was actually able to grow one when they took oral minoxidil?

I'm also applying topical and dermaroll my face by the way.

I found oral minoxidil didn't effect my facial hair much tbh, maybe a tad but nothing significant. I have seen a lot of people endorse needling+topical for growing facial hair with good results though.

I take 10mg, have done so for a good while, saw some results with regrowth on my crown but no miracles, i just don't think im a good responder to it tbh, at least compared to the results many people on here seem to get.

Damn I"m worried I'll get water rentention too. Don't know where to get spironolactone without prescription.

Im taking probably the highest dosage you should take, so more chance of sides. What dosage are you taking?

really no crazy body hair growth or weird plaes such ear/ nose with 10 mg?
For the OP, for me even with 0.625 mg i got razy beard growth up to uner the eye with oral min, crazy stong drug

Nope no increase in body hair, existing hair may have thickened up a little but no new body hair, i don't think i respond that well to oral min tbh.

do you think after several month the hypertrichosis stop at a point? i would really like to try like maybe 2.5 mg oral min but i am so afraid to turn into an ape ( 3 month 1.25 mg caused me vellu hair all over my body and thiken darken existing hair like cray on hand/ arm/ legs)

I am 6 weeks in. I fee like I notice a thicker beard, but I've always had a strong beard.

Wow, 0.625 sounds like a really tiny dose to me. Are you sure all the gains were from oral minoxidil alone?
