Oral Minoxidil?

I just got back from a visit to my doctor to start my prescription of finasteride and he suggested I try taking oral minoxidil. I haven't heard of what side effects this might generate, but I can imagine taking extra time in the morning to shave my ears, forehead, nipples, etc...

Has anyone tried minoxidil orally or heard of what effects it has (good or bad)? :tellme:

Could be catastrophic if you have any problems with your heart or blood vessels as Minoxidil is a vasodialator. But don't take my word for it.

I dunno, Oral minoxidil(Loniten) is a second tier Blood pressure medication.
