Cassin, I don't think that is true. I may be wrong, but according to Pickart, Tricomin uses what he calls his "earlier" cu formula..
Well yeah...they both claim they have newer CP's models with better absorbtion. It's a business. Did you know Dr Pickart used to own Procyte?
It's a pretty interesting story.

Tricomin today contains a lower concentration of cu than the formula used in the FDA test. However, Procyte claims they have a better delivery system and so as much or more cu actually gets into the skin as the version used in the FDA tests. Other than that, the peptide structure in today's Tricomin is the same as the one in used in the FDA trials...
Well...Dr Pickart states it was in a lotion form and neither companies "sprays" have the same percentage as the FDA models. See the problem is getting these companies to show their cards. Maybe they are both right and used a few different forms in the FDA trials. The thing is, they don't have to disclose very much to the public so we are left with he said she said issues with this.

Furthermore, it is not the case that Folligen today is similar to the Tricomin used in the FDA trials. .
It is to me if your going to rely on it for regrwoth and it matters to me so they can back up some of these wild claims they make. It's obvious both of us have read a lot about Copper-Peptides and we have two different stories about the same two companies. Send Dr Pickart some emails and drage out some answers. He and I had a 20 response email going over two days and what I got from him paints a different picture.

Folligen uses what Pickart calls his "second generation" cu formula. It contains much more cu than Tricomin ever did, and the exact peptide structure is different, although I don't have enough technical details to know exactly how it's different..
Kind of has a sales tag ring tone doesn't it? "Second Generation!"

However, the Tricomin of today is much closer to the Tricomin used in the FDA trials than Folligen is...
No, Dr Pickart claims and will state if you ask him that the Body Lotion is close to the formula.

I also don't see why you say you wouldn't use Folligen or Skin Biology products. They are cheaper and better than Procyte products, IMO.
I have used them in the past. It's too green and since it is a higher percentage, it can irritation the scalp of some. Including me. Higher percentage doesn't mean it is better.
What does better mean to you? What are you expecting from it? For me better is keeping irritation down and being cosmetically acceptable for me to use. Folligen is a fantastic product for some but simply not to me.
American Crew is a tad cheaper and I used a bottle to good success.
Now to the issue of direct hairloss, it is impossible to tell what is doing better in that regard. I am using Finasteride and minoxidil so I will never know for sure.
I don't mean to come off as stating that Folligen in any way is a scam, not at all.I would use it were it not so green, plain and simple or if it didn't sting so much. As for the stinging, I could just water it down as I did but it was still very green.
With the procyte formula I can use ot before work and no one can tell. After all, I am in this game for appearance.
