Pavi, may I ask your age? Also, I would recommend you check cortisol levels in conjunction with all thyroid. Optimal not just acceptable levels of all hormones will result in maximal and stabilization of hair growth

21. My endocrinologist did a full hormonal panel. Cortisol was normal.

Levothyroxine is synthetic T4. I take that too. Some times, people don't get better on T4 alone, so docs add T3 (liothyronine). Whether or not you'll need T3 added to your treatment depends on how you respond to levothyroxine

How are you feeling? Symptoms? TSH is okay. Not great but not really bad. FT3 being 4.7 is actually kinda high and your T4 I'm not sure what that is. Is that free t4? It can't be. 18.8 doesn't make sense for free T4. If your free T4 is 18.8, what are the units
I am Feling okej My dock says its okej and i should come back for a test later on. What symptoms Did you have

@Pavi thanks for the advice! I'm getting my T3 tested anyways when I go to the endo this Friday, I've only been on levo for a week but I already feel better, can make it through the day without getting tired. Anyways since you are unsure of whether or not it's the hypo meds that has caused your regrowth then I'll make sure to monitor my own results since I will only be on Levo and possibly T3, at the moment I have no intention of using anything else.

Be careful not to just hop on T3 if you don't need it. Too much thyroid medicine is bad for your heart

Hey @Pavi
Few questions since I'm experience same thing as you.
-How long did it take until your noticed shedding/hair loss halt after thyroid med?
-Are you still using minoxidil and how often?
-Did you notice hair miniaturization and thinning especially at hairline (receding)?

I'm going to be prescribed thyroid meds soon since my tsh is now @ 7.8. I'm not sure if I should start using minoxidil, I'm at NW2 atm

I noticed it right away but I can take up to 9 months. I use minoxidil religiously 2 times a day with 2% keto and the lasercomb. My thyroid hair loss was very diffuse... not really receding
