PDRN, also called Polydeoxyribonucleotide is a very versatile and powerful compound consisting of fragmented DNA.

Why is it useful for hair loss?

-Increases FGF, EGF AND PDGF (Growth factors)

-Angiogenesis (significant VEGF increase), effective in restoring blood flow in peripheral occlusive artery disease and diabetic foot ulcers.

-Anti dystrophic, meaning it breaks up calcification in necrotic dissue.

-Increases WNT signalling through Adenosine A2A activation.

-Extremely effective for wound healing. Per Prof. Ralf Paus wound healing chemicals are often also effective for hair loss.

-Extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling

-PDRN increases Cell growth, and reactivates normal cell proliferation

-Increases the proliferation of human pre-adipocytes. Which is a relevant source of adult stem cells. (i.e more stem cells in the environment?)

-Decreases inflammatory cytokines

Is NF kB inhibition bad for hair?
The NF-kB inhibition is negligible in terms of potency. Also I think minoxidil amd adenosine targets the A2A receptor, causing the same increase in wnt signalling but decrease in NF-kB.

He already made a thread about PDRN in october but it has fallen into oblivion.
It was about a new company patenting PDRN. I think PDRN deserved it’s own thread. There are multiple people who’s going to test this out :)

We bought it from superhumanstore or Farmasia Loreto Gallo. I think they both ship ww. If anyone else would like to try it. We are using the «Placentex pomata 0.08%». It’s pretty cheap.

Yes, about BSPharma or something like that if I remember well. I planned to test it too, but I'm already on other alternative treatment so I don't want to add too many things so I can know what compound work or not.
Too bad if I lose hair during the process, I don't want to be in multiple treatments and end up not knowing what worked. You can see it as a sacrifice for science lol.

How much would it cost/month?

And is it dissolved in ethanol?
It’s either in cream form or in ampoules/injectables. I use the cream on my temples. Been using it for 1 month. I reckon it will cost like 5 € per month with my usage. You can also buy powder from Alibaba.

It all depends on what dose you inject. I planned for 1mL per week so 15 weeks ===> 95 dollars for 3,5 months.

You don't have to dissolve it. It's already prepared for use.

Edit: My bad it exists in cream too, very interesting.

The cream is MUCH cheaper and convinient, or the powder from Alibaba.

Isn't it hard and inconvenient to use a cream on your head, especially if you still have some reasonable amount of hair?

And how many times do you need to apply the cream? Every day?
I use it for my temples only, there’s only vellus hair. Really easy to apply. If you are going to use it on the scalp use the vials or powder in ethanol/pg.

Vials are expensive af, search for Polydeoxyribonucleotide powder on alibaba. Idobio is a good source. Mix and apply it after each microneedling session. It’s 30 usd for a gram I think. And that will last long.

I saw that the cream is 0,08% concentration, so 80mg/100mL. Is that a decent concentration ? Also, there is topical solution at 0,25mg/mL, does it worth ? I don't know much about efficiency of pdrn in function of the concentration.

Yes that’s a good %. The topical solution sounds good also. Can you send the link?

So 30 usd for 1 gram and that will last you for years if you use the same % as Placentex
