after 1 month, yesterday i started feeling less pleasure in masturbation

it feels like my penis got mild anaesthesia


anyone got this ? did it resolve during treatment ?

I was horny as hell before finasteride. i would do it like 5 times a day but i dont have time. so dunno.

i do it to relax myself before sleep

as 16 yo i did it once 41 times in 24h interval... just saying how big was my libido... it lowered itself in years without finasteride.

Jesus! I have NEVER been that into onanism even at your age or younger. ****ing hell try having a cocoa or a joint before bed. If I were you, I'd give it a bit of a rest, and see how you are in a few days. Many people get themselves overworked once they start finasteride and over analyse. I've been on it 4.5 years. Never had a problem getting it up, or with intensity of orgasm. Only time I had ED was when I'd been drinking heavily!

ughh yeah dude i'm pretty sure he's referring specifically to forms of ED associated with the use of finasteride, not virtual women casting spells of ED with their dark magic from behind a computer screen.

anyways...i took about 6 doses of the drug over the course of this last week and a half. The past couple of days I have noticed that while flaccid I have a loss of sensitivity there. Like a numb tingling feeling that is pretty persistent. I stopped taking the drug and am going to see if it will go away.

Quite possibly your last sentence is correct. Before starting finasteride, you weren't even thinking about the subject. Now you've started, the tiniest change or perceived change is analysed. Like I say, try having a couple of days off the five finger shuffle, and see how you get on

yeah you're right. but that's an entirely different conversation. like people who watch 10 hours of p**rn a day and can't have normal sex. anyway my dick does feel a little weird. it's not like i'm imagining it. guess i'm on the wait and see approach for a few days.

btw soscared, especially since you are so young i have to ask have you noticed morning / nighttime erections still?

not having those is one of the really common side effects, and that also is worrying me because that's how your body maintains proper erections by cycling them at night.

no dude, i actually got nocturnal errections. i never had them before finasteride

now every time i wake up , i do with my rocket up.

alright well from what i understand the watery ejaculate is caused from reduced secretion of the prostate gland, and i think it's common for the drug. also in the controlled study, an average of 20% less sperm upon ejaculation was noted and it wasn't seen as threatening so again normal.

you will basically find two kinds of people on the internet:

camp a: has taken finasteride without problems and advocates use of the drug, and the people disagreeing with them are hypochondriacs.

camp b: has taken finasteride and experienced unwanted and potentially harmful long term or short term side effects, the word they throw around is poison and....well you get the picture.

one thing either side can't argue is that we are playing a dangerous game with our hormones, and if you did your research you probably know that inhibiting 5ar has other consequences besides having more hair.

i myself am continually weighing the pros and the cons, and trying to decide what is best for me, and my future. i just turned 24, and i really like the fact that i have hair.

yeah the urologist cousin WOULD have an aversion to finasteride, and for good reason. along with ED, finasteride has been linked to peyronie's. but as long as you are gentle with your manhood, you should be alright. i wish there was more data out there, i hate new drugs :ermm:

Beta blockers can help with anxiety. Not sure on efficacy or side effects. Oh and what is it with some women and their *ahem* pumping techniques? It's like they're trying to get water from a well or something!

...finasteride will DO this to you! Saw Palmetto does this to me...exact same thing ..I'm 43 now, but I was on finasteride from 29 years old to 35..By 35, I couldn't get anything going on....I remember I had this hot little dirty number who only wanted it up the backend, I was limp thinking "wake up you SOB!!!"

Don't let the 2% number fool you...the real world number is higher than that...finasteride will suck the life outta ya...
