37 x 10 Finpecia = £72 + £2.50 p&p = £74.50 for 370 + £11.17 VAT + £8 handling = 25p each or £92.50 per year.

So a bigger order would save about 25% of the cost in this case, assuming they do remember to charge the VAT. Even better if it slips through unnoticed.

To update this, it did slip through unnoticed (missed the postie and had to collect from delivery office) so I paid £76.50 for 370 tablets which is which is 20.6p each :)

Yeah, mine got through as well. Meaning that I got around 6 months supply of the stuff for next to nothing :)

Hey guys, sorry to invade the thread, but I was wondering how much proscar can you buy of Dr. Ashcroft? Can you only buy a year's supply off him? I'm really skint at the moment! :(
Cheers

years supply of fincar cost me 45 pounds.

vat was 4 and handling fee was 8 pounds.

So for a years worth of fincar ran me £57

not bad!

Inhousepharmacy sell 3 strips of Fincar (30 tablets) for about 15 quid, P&P included. Cheap enough to avoid the Customs charge.

From HMRC website: "We have no discretion to waive the import VAT under EU law and as soon as the £18 limit is exceeded, VAT is payable on the whole value of the package, including any postage and packing."

I kept both orders to 6 x 10 Finpecia pills which costs less than the £18 threshold. However having read the above that says the £18 includes p&p, I might order less in future to make sure the total including p&p is under £18.

How I read the above HMRC quote is that if the value of your chosen item exceeds £18 then VAT will be charged on the item AND the P&P, but if the item is less than £18 no VAT is due even if P&P takes you over the threshold. So a £17 DVD with £5 P&P should incur no VAT, whereas for a £19 DVD with £5 P&P you'll be charged VAT on the full £24 purchase price. I think.
