People on Dutasteride dose over 0.5mg - do you get it at a compound pharmacy?

Not sure if I could even convince a dermatologist to send in a prescription for 1.5mg or 2.5mg compounded dutasteride… but curious how anyone here is getting it. What kind of doctor? I’m assuming it’s sent to a compounding pharmacy or else you’d be taking 3 or 5 pills a day…

Also, how does the pricing compare to regular dutasteride? In the US, goodrx is around $35 for a 90 day supply, curious how much a compounding pharmacy would charge for a 90 day supply.

If you have .5 just double dose to 1.0 & so on … but .5mg may be best. I tried doubling & tripling but didn’t appear to help much

What? How long has this been going on? I thought "more is not better" with dutasteride. I've only ever known it to be used safely and effectively at 0.5mg/day. It definitely IS working for me at 0.5mg.
