I was just wondering if there was any study or if anyone had experience with tests about how much of a difference RU made on systemic hormone levels. I read an interesting study where topical finasteride reduced systemic dht levels by 25% as opposed to 70% when taken orally. I prefer seeing real numbers. For example, someone who had their blood levels checked before and after taking ru.

It goes systemic but the serum half life is sowewhat short - about an hour which can give some side effects but far less than the systemic drugs

A much better and safer choice is CB aka Clascoterone

The same sources selling RU are also selling CB
I use 50mg a day
The amount depends on hair length
With very short hair you may need less

Thanks. I have medium to short length hair with slow thinning. I assume 50mg should suffice

Curious about the antiabdrogenic potency of CB compared to RU. Supposedly sides are not possible due to how CB is metabolized but I’d be willing to continue with higher risks with RU if I knew it was waay more effective

CB is more effective because you can use more without having sides

But it's 3 times more expensive than RU

They key is to keep hair very short so you get a consistent amount into the scalp and not sticking to hair

Depends on your budget

That makes a lot of sense. No sides = unlimited usage. Unfortunately I can’t keep my hair short or my diffuse pattern will be very apparent taking me from a passable nw1 to a noticeable nw4+. How do you prepare your CB if you don’t mind me asking? Is it something that you could apply with a spray applicator or a liquid syringe?

I dump about 50mg into a 6ml bottle of neogenic shake well and it's dissolved in 1 minute
Use a dropper and massage it hard applying bit by bit all over my head which uses 6ml
Can use half of this when I have short hair

Neogenic does not leave any residues

I now take oral minoxidil 5mg per day so I only do this once at night on a clean and dry scalp

I am now using RU and dutasteride in combination as nothing else seems to help- unfortunately I can’t afford 50mg of cb a day. I’m worried about this combination though leaving me with health issues further down the line. El Duterino and others- what dosage of RU would you recommend to minimise systemic activity and what health checks with you advise?

isn't 50mg/ml 5% so your solution was just about 0.83% or what am I missing
