Perfect dosage for finasteride. / Is it really worth it?

I've come to a point where im just fed UP of my hair.
Is finasteride really worth it? Im 21 years old btw and losing ground reallly fast
Go for it?
Whats the perfect dosage?

I've been taking it since 22. No sides. I wish I had started at 18, I'd probably have all my hair

1 mg per day, maybe even less, is the optimal dose.

And go to the gym! The benefits of even 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week are huge. You'll look and feel better, and believe me, you'll be way more potent. Lots of guys hate talking about this, but sometimes, for whatever reason, even though you should get a boner you just don't. But If you're lifting and exercising, that sh*t just doesn't happen. It's like I'm 12 again. I look at the back of a girl's neck and I can get hard. Ridiculous.

I find though that people taking it who are scared witless of "sides" go looking for them as SAF says, and any little thing their body does freaks them out. These people usually last 2 or 3 months on the drug at most.

If you are not comfortable with taking a 5AR inhibitor (finasteride) then maybe you should re-consider before buying the drug.
FYI I've been on it for about a year and a half with no sides. Still get a boner (more often than I'd like :mrgreen

But if you read the Sides forum you'll find all sorts of Quacks posting there.

Yes makes sense. My plan is, once I start the pills i'll buzz my hair and stay away from the sides section.
Should I start with 0.5 mg, or 1 mg a day?

I've been on finasteride for going on 4 years and have never experienced on single side effect. I'm thirty years old now. I eat healthy and do forty minutes of vigorous cardio six days a week w/ a tiny bit of weight lifting. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I imagine maintaining overall health through diet and exercise can't hurt.

I'd advise you to get on finasteride. It has definately helped my hairloss (completely in the crown, and probably slowed it on the hairline).

If you have side effects you can always stop the drug.....
