(pic Included) Do I Have New Hair Growing Back?

Hello,

So I was today at dermatolog for a recheck for hair. She said to me that I don't have to worry much since I am having new hair growing(she meant for this thin golden hair).

Can anyone of you spot that too or maybe she was just trying to make me feel better (since I'm suffering the hair thinning)

Doesnt look like newly grown hair. It looks like hairs thats been growing for quite some time.

No I'm not using any treatment. I was in minoxidil for 5 days but I stopped it due to headache.
I'm thinking of finasteride but I'm too scared for that.

It's funny because till 2 months ago I was very ok with hair, never looked them thinning. One day my cousin said me "are you hair thinning?" and since that day I become obsessed and I think my hair really became thin.

What about you guys? Taking any treatment?

Why would the doctor lie to u about ur hair growing back? She's not ur mom trying to make u feel better. Her job is to try and help u address ur problem.

Cuz she sees how worried I got and maybe she just tries to make me feel less stressed.

If I have new hair, why would she say to start minoxidil? She even mentioned starting minoxidil + finasteride. Haha

Nahhh, you don't have any regrowth whatsoever. If you did, you'd have hairs of different length. I don't see a single shorter new hair.

If you are scared of treatments, you will go bald. Period. And don't even count on a new better treatment any time soon.
