How do you know the fatty face came from minoxidil? Maybe you have just gained fat? How sudden the change was after starting using minoxidil?
I know its from minoxidil because when i stop using minoxidil for three days my face goes slim again. Also im fit and have ever had a fat face untill i started using this crap.

I'm just wondering if this facial swelling thing (and dark cycles under the eyes) comes from minoxidil itself or other ingridients (as ppg)

Im pretty sure its from minoxidil,Ive never heard of ppg causing facial swelling. But minoxidil is known to cause water retention,Infact its one of its most common side effects,Yet they dont seem to tell you how common it is in the rogaine side effect list,Which is typical drug company bullcrap.

Once a day with a slightly weaker solution will probably just maintain the hair you have now and nothing else. You won't lose it because you're still feeding the hair minoxidil (albeit much less), but at the same time you won't gain anything else.

I would say to try 5% once a day (instead of 2) and see if that helps with the side effects before moving down to 2%.
How dumb can you get man,2% will maintain what 5% grew? People like you confuse people on hairloss forums with your idiotic 2 cents that have been far from proven.

Although it hasn't been proven as far as I know, I think redtan makes a good suggestion. Now, you can't know with close to any certainty what each different treatment will do for you. But I think it is logical to believe that using a weaker minoxidil solution won't grow anymore but can at least maintain what you have grown. Maybe it's wrong and you'll grow more or you'll lose what you have grown - it's impossible to tell until you try. Just because redtan's hypothesis isn't proven doesn't mean it doesn't make logical sense and won't work. I say give it a try.

I would also like to add my happiness in increasing my post count. A few more posts and I'll be into double digits. Bam!
