Be honest with me guys.

finasteride since 3 months, no side effects, 1mg ED. In 5 months I will turn 19.

Hairline:

These are my temples right now. The small hairs on the left temple I think are new ones from finasteride. Not sure though.

Here is a pic from the 4-5th grade

As you can see, I have never had a perfect straight hairline but I think I have suffered recession from like 16-17 till now. Hairline does not look different from what it was when I turned 17.

Father's hairline at age 37

There is definitely presence of male pattern baldness, but I do not think it is bad for a 37-year-old. Unfortunately, my father passed away 2 years after that so I do not know where he would be right now. His father has hair on the back of his head but on top most of it is gone but he is 83.

Am I fuuucked ? How severe are we talking here ?

I have come across a lot of evidence that height, penor length etc. are predominately already predetermined by genetics. My concerns then? Can finasteride alter how I will have developed when I am like 30 ? Facial proportion alterations, bone structure alterations ? **** like that. Another example, can it like make me look like a underdeveloped 28-year-old who looks like a 18-20 year-old ?

As for... is hair important to me ? Well, I do not think I am bad looking...

So I do not think I am going to be depressed as phuck.Probably.
The buzzcut may also look good on me.

But a horseshoe shaped peach fuzz and/or skinhead when I am just about to go to college and live my life entering my 20s ? Please no.

Any input is highly appreciated

But I should take it that there is evident and solid progression of male pattern baldness ?

Looks like you'll have a different/worse progression than your dad comparing your hairlines and the fact there's 18 years between you. Should buy yourself a lot of time with finasteride though.

That are exactly my thoughts too. That is why I started taking finasteride now. Anyway, is there a chance my father's hairline receding like mine at the same age 18-20 and staying like that till his age .. I mean is it a possibility ? And I am not thinking about stopping finasteride.

You posted this on Reddit and I gave you my response, you'll be fine. You caught it early so you should be able to maintain for quite a while. Even if you did fully go bald you have good facial features and could pull off the look.

You could just be heading to a nw2. Plenty of people get to nw2 and stay there for a long time, Scott Weiland for example. He was a nw2 for like 25 years. Keep up with the finasteride and you will be fine, but i do not think you have male pattern baldness.

My question is how would you know if your hairline will just stop at an NW2? Would a dermatologist even be able to tell you how bald you will end up? Main reason why I'm asking is because I don't want to start finasteride if I don't have to.

What is going on with my hair ???

I am a 23 year old and only the last year or two I've noticed my scalp has been thinning while the remainder of my hair is still thick. I am curious as to why this is happening. Am I going bald slowly? What do I do it's really stressing me out and I'm starting to feel anxious about the situation

Crown looks like it's started to thin out. On the plus side you caught it very early and can recover a significant amount of ground if you hop on finasteride.

OP, your hair loss doesn't look bad at all, to be honest. If I saw you on the street I wouldn't be able to tell.
