this is my 1st post on this forum, you might note, as my user name says, I have "no-temples" (lots of thin hair/shadow hairline, basically an "V" shaped or "U" shaped hairline) and I'm only 23 years old, very depressed and embarrassed by it  I started using Rogaine foam about 1.5 months ago, and only 10 days ago started Propecia, but as of today I wont be taking it due to negative side effects (the fact its making me grow man-boobs)

I had so much hope for Propecia, i thought that now i can start to actually do something about my hair, it was a life line and now it feels as if someone has switched my "life support" off or the sense of hitting a brick wall...

I've read up on Xandrox and other topical solutions such as azelaic acid (don't want to take internals due to side effects) but I am not sure what to do/take?

Can anyone with positive results or with good experience with any topical DHT-Inhibitors, PLEASE PLEAAAAASE (I'm almost begging) advise me on what to use.

I'm eagerly waiting for a reply

Regards

Me...minus hair
:(

gyno in 10 days? not sure about that. the chances of something so rare happening so quickly are pretty remote. the most proven topical combo is revivogen and 5% spironolactone cream. theres been an encouraging new study on revivogen which has been posted on the site, have a look.
good luck mate.

I know I have developed Gyno because my chest/breast area has swollen up and my nipples have become "puffy" and are very sore.

I have read that study on revivogen, for which you are talking about. But me being as cynical as I am, think its probably a marketing "scam" as such to induce people into purchasing their product.

Main reason to for me to think in that way is due to the fact its not authorised/approved by the FDA.

Any comments?

I agree with sean68 - look into revivogen and spironolactone. I have used revivogen but found it irritating for my scalp, though i may try it again at a reduced level. If it wasn't for this irritation then i would still be using it as i had high hopes for it.

Also i recently just purchased topical spironolactone but have yet to try it. I think that this may be my last hope though.

Elsom Research's products may be less irritating, or not at all(as they are for me), since they do not use alcohol and pg. Of course it may be something else in Revivogen as well.

I strongly doubt propecia can cause gyno in such a short time? Are you sure it is not on your mind? Some men have naturally puffy nipples.

Anyway revivogen and spironolactone are your best anti-DHT alternatives. If you are going to do something without propecia then these are your options.

Are you sure your nipples just aren't becoming puffy and that's it? I mean that's like a major medical thing for gyno to start so quick. Usually guys are on it for months before something like that happens.

I don't thing this is the main reason to judge revivogen.
As it is an external product, you can try it w/o FDA approve.
I read somewhere that to approve the FDA a product takes a lot of years and money.
May this is the reason that it is not approved, who knows...
