Peeps,

Please suggest a system which can withstand 45+ ℃. I live in The Gulf and I am currently using a clip-on system - afraid of the glue melting off my head.

Clip-on systems are the ones least realistic and lowers my confidence, please help!

Full lace would be best, as it's totally breathable. French or Swiss.
And lower density too.

And a very strong tape like Walker Extenda Bond Plus. But patch test it for 24 hours first.

Do you still have your own natural hairline with your clip-on system? Or are you replacing your hairline too?

No, my natural hairline is gone. I used to have it 4 years back though. I want to get rid of this clip-on as it never blends good on the back and sides.

I live on Gulf coast in US, about the hottest most humid climate to live in, especially in the summer months.
I wear the Lavivid Ares, Lace With poly borders sides and back. Just ordered a second Ares unit yesterday.
It's very cool, doesn't feel hot at all, and I do intense workouts daily and no issues.
Regardless of company u use, Lace is obviously your best option. Good luck :)

That sucks and how do you tour the Amazon or go on sailing voyages with a toupee? The psychological loss of freedom is extreme to me in terms of using a system versus a wig which can be tossed on and off and styled but it requires admitting one is either bald or has very poor hair which I don't have really now relatively. Not the actual freedom lost as there are workarounds but people can go off meds for two to four weeks fine but the thought of organizing any trip or relocation around one's hair system to me is debilitating and I am not trying to be mean. I think most of us who wear wigs by necessity feel exactly the same. For some people, you might need two wigs and that's an organizational nightmare if you place them on styrofoam heads. One thing wigs do universally is that they become tangled as soon as removed unless carefully placed on a rounded object. In the 60's my mother and many Americans wore wigs over beautiful hair such as she still has because it was in style due to a television show called That Girl! who was sort of the first non-teacher working woman on television and unmarried in the big city which was considered brash and daring. Except for judges and old aristocracy, no males wear systems by choice over perfect hair but females and trans/divas always have and it's expected so it has little to no shame factor.

I support all of you guys and I had to make a decision related to this at a very young age and opted for transplant that didn't work out great either.

Best,
Janey

A wig is usually looks and feels fake with shiny synthetic hair and will fly off your head in a strong wind.
Often shines or changes colour under bright lighting too.
Alithough some poor 'quality' hair systems can give an orange tint under bright light too.
Higher quality human hair wigs still should be taped or glued on. Or is laughing stock if it blows off in strong wind. Or slips out of place.

A hair system is meant to look like your natural hair, the correct density and colour as your own hair at the sides and back.
To disguise balding and to give you the hairstyle you want.

However it's not your own hair and it still has limitations.
Hot showers, swimming often, sleeping without a silk or satin pillow case, scratching it with your nails, all shortens the life. Being too long in the sun causes fading too.

Ultimately a FUE hair transplant if you have enough donor hair would be the best. But at Norwood 7 like me or even Norwood 6 doesn't give great results.
And it is really really expensive, cheap botched hair transplant looks pluggy like dolls hair, not to mention the scars.

worked for Will and me! He got the hair but janey got the tits and oh so cute ones really both will and janey agree. They recommend this even will but some of this is incorrect and maybe completely janey says since will lost his mind over f*****g hair loss, thinking oh we are a man we can handle this and we don't need her or Her at all and this sentence is clearly false both say.
Who is Will?
This is mine boggling...

You make a good point they said and janey always deletes any and all posts that are either rude, obnoxious or hurtful 'cept maybe on my own thread cause I am trying to be vulnerable and take the remaining shame out from my alter. Janey always follows advice and this sentence is true swear to Goddess says she. It's called illeism but I don't deserve to be a pariah as it's notoriously difficult to get out of the habit of engaging in, since I see both sides always. Pity me or pity us but don't hate me. And I absolutely despise being ignored. Guilty as charged say janey and will both.<each with both hands up hysterically waving for some unknown reason but still the point's the same they says>
That gibberish is off topic though.

Never had a problem sleeping, exercising or swimming including underwater with my wigs. You need to anchor them down right with strong wide tape, not glue. And I've never had a wig "fly off" in a strong wind, and that inludes being outdoors during typoons in Hong Kong and the Philippines.

you think tape is stronger than glue?
