26 y/o. been on finasteride for about 5 weeks now, 1mg/day.

i noticed sides very quickly, about 2 weeks in. i could only get an erection up to about 80% and my semen was super watery. one week later, erections were up to 90-95%, and semen returned to normal. i noticed an increase in my sex drive and huge increase in how much semen i produce. its been like this for about 2 weeks/

sweet ...that gives me hope that when i start finasteride....i might notice sides, but then they will go away as my body adjusts.

is that what everyone else notices?

Yes, its quite common. Its from the spike in testosterone and your hormones adjusting to the medication. For me, it lasted about a month then my libido decreased and erection strength dropped below baseline.

Orgasms less intense? I'm not on finasteride, though sometimes if I get off right when I wake up, the orgasm sucks.. not intense at all.. and is extremely short. Whereas after I've been awake a while, I have great orgasm. So when you say orgasms are less intense, is it like what I experience in the morning? I don't think I could live with weak orgasms, takes the fun out of sex.

During the evening. But don't get me wrong, my orgasms aren't weak.

Most people sometimes have intense orgasms and sometimes regular orgasms. Now that I'm on finasteride, I get more regular ones. They aren't bad, just not memorable.

quick update- 7 weeks in now, and my side effects have gone away, aside from that i still produce way more sperm. but, no more erectile problems, no more watery sperm. also, i'm noticing lots of peach fuzz all over my temples.
