In brief:

I am 23.

I began treatment just prior to my 21st birthday when I noticed some minor thinning of the crown and hair line recession

I began by using generic minoxidil and used it until October 2007 at which point I switched to MiN Agent: [http://www.minnewyork.com/Treat/All/Triple-Agent-Promo.html] It contains 5% Minoxidil, Kopexil, Copper Peptide Y3, Procapil [http://www.procapil.com/]). Kopexil is supposed to be some sort of modified minoxidil molecule with greater bioavailability. Obviously the 5% minoxidil is the proven active ingredient. When I switched to MiN Agent, I did notice increased regrowth and my hair quality got better! The generic stuff was making my hair dry and curly with a flat dirty look.

After a year on this formulation, my hair began to become more diffuse at the temples, mid-anterior scalp, and at the vertex.

Because of that, I just began Propecia (finasteride) 1mg daily.

Overall, I probably have better raw coverage than baseline, but I have become more diffuse throughout. I'm hoping that finasteride can reverse this to a certain degree.

Where do you buy your fincar?

Significant improvement back portion using KSR (big 3 plus), 8 months in. Front... not so much.

Maybe we should list a age or decade... forties for me.

Is a hair transplant out of the question for you?

got it from inhousepharmacy.com

How can you be sure it's real? Before being jaded about finasteride, I'd say it might be a good idea to get proscar from a US pharmacy and see if you notice any difference. I know a lot of guys on here swear by inhousepharmacy, but there is no FDA quality control over foreign illegally imported drugs as you probably know.

Fincar as is actually made by Cipla (i think) is probably of fine quality, however there is no guarantee that's what you're actually receiving. I don't mean to be insulting, I just think it might be to your benefit to pony up a little more money for a doctor's visit (or say you have a cold for insurance purposes) and get the Rx for proscar...

Is a hair transplant out of the question for you?

I just posted about this is another thread. It's not out of the question. I actually came here last November
looking for info about it. Three things happened.... the big 3 worked to some extent and I have hope that it
will get better. And two... I was REALLY disappointed in the contacts I had with hair transplant surgeons. Maybe I just
did not talk to the right guys but I would not let them come anywhere near my scalp. And three, I have hope that HM
is close... I can live with what I have now for a few years while I wait.

One other thing is the cost to result ratio does not seem to be great with hair transplant... it seems you end up with
thinning looking hair in a lot of cases as well as a "mature hairline".

Gonna add xandrox 15 soon to see if I van establish more regrowth.
