Possible gyno? Would like advice

I've been lurking on these forums for about a month, but this is my first post so forgive me if it's poorly written. I'm also typing on my phone.

I'm a 21/M and have been on 5% minoxidil (morning/night) for about 4 weeks and 1mg finasteride for almost three weeks. I take around 1300mg of saw palmetto daily, along with a multi vitamin in the morning, 5000mcg of biotin for each breakfast and morning, and a fish oil in the morning.

I'm currently going through a massive shed, which is alarming but I'm keeping my cool as the hair will HOPEFULLY grow back. My cause for alarm though is that yesterday I noticed that my left breast seemed oddly larger than my right. (Picture below)

Taken yesterday.

It mostly hurts in the upper area of the breast near the armpit. I went skateboarding yesterday, as I normally do, and am feeling sore in my legs and back (as usual).

My concern is that I've never noticed swelling in my breasts. The whole breast is in some pain, and I'm scared it's gyno..any thoughts?.. Thank you for reading.

I would drop the saw palmetto. I took Beta Sistosterol (the good stuff in saw palmetto) for a month in 2012 - it gave me significant fatigue and loss of libido, and I believe some gyno. I also swear it grew hair in a very short amount of time, only to have even more fall out when I stopped.

I'm on 1mg/d finasteride and it's much, much more tolerable. I have trouble even determining if the sides are placebo. With Beta Sis, there was no doubt.

I believe minoxidil can't cause gyno but I don't mess with that. finasteride and Keto shampoo for me.

It's very common to experience shedding when you first start using minoxidil, so no need to worry about that, my question to you though is did you have thinning in the areas where you applied it? If so, congratulations, minoxidil is working for you. I think you're using too many things honestly mate. You don't need to use both saw palmetto and propecia.

Update:
Hello everyone, It's been about 1 1/2 months since this initial post. When I made the post I actually dropped finasteride for a week because I was so paranoid. After looking at the statistics and how often people usually get gyno, I decided I would actually pick it back up because it is pretty much needed..

Positives: My hair looks much better. Within the, almost, 3 months of 0.5 - 1.0mg of finasteride a day (as I broke the 1mg pill into halfs to reduce dosage, but have gotten back onto 1mg in the last 3 weeks) I have started to regrow my hairline and the volume of my hair is actually increasing. I don't need to use a concealer as much. This is also partially because I have grown out my hair and have made my hair loss less noticable. If you're going through a shed PLEASEE listen to everyone on this site! It does stop! It's going so perfectly... except...

Negatives: I am pretty sure the gyno is increasing. My left breast is now larger than my right, or at least has more mass. I'm sure this is fat and not glandular tissue, however if I pinch my nipples there is a small bit of muscle, or gland, that I can feel. I'm not sure if this was there prior to starting finasteride or not. I have stopped all intakes of saw palmetto and have reduced my finasteride dosage to 0.5mg a day (although I do understand that 0.5 is almost the same as 1.0mg. I also understand that reducing the dosage to reduce side effects also reduces the benefits of the drug..).

Does anyone have any advice ? I'm seeing a doctor at my university tomorrow to check for gyno so I'll know for sure then. I swear I feel pain/soreness/burning from my left breast, but it could just be my mind tricking me as that's all I've been thinking about all day. I have no other side effects that I've noticed. Occasional depression, but nothing physical.

Questions I have:
1. If it is gyno, and I have to stop finasteride, can I still get by using keto shampoo and minoxidil? I understand there will be a huge shed..
2. Is there anything I can take to lower my estrogen to prevent more/reduce the current gyno while on finasteride?
3. Has anyone else had this problem?

Update one day after post above.

Doctor said he didn't believe it to be gyno and that instead it is most likely just fatty muscle. It is only month 3 so it still has a chance of developing, but for now I'm in the clear.

Hoping I'm just 'seeing' side effects

Well, I'm in the same boat. I am feeling, just feeling my breasts more after taking finasteride. I don't know what it is. But if i were you, I would probably drop the finasteride, maybe try RU, because your chest scene looks horrifying. And I am also scared of that happening.

But the results seem to be there. (I mean your hair progress)

Went to the doctor and he said it doesn't seem to be the development of gyno, or at least from what he can see. I may have a little more chest fat on one side, which I can't tell if I had before (asymmetry wasn't something I ever paid attention to before starting finasteride)

but it my roommate thinks I'm fine, so does the Doctor and the mother. I'll continue finasteride as 51% to 49%, I'm most likely just rereading the horror stories on here and imagining symptoms..but we will see in a month

So it's been months. What happened? I've been on fincar for a week at 1.25 mg and I've noticed my breast is bigger on one side than the other, too. The past two days I have been messing with my left breast. Pinching, grabbing, etc. And it's a little painful now. I don't know if it was the abuse or gyno.

Hey,

I know this is a few years later but I just wanted to check in and see what happened with your story?

I've been on finasteride for 2 weeks now and I have like a burning sensation radiating from above my nipples and on my left breast it feels like it's going into my armpit.

I'm freaked out.

You are definitely in the phase of getting gyno. I would stop with finasteride. DHT has one bad effect on hair follicles but multiple great effects on others like CNS, liver, libido, etc. if you are a man and want to be that way. Not lying.
