Possible hair loss at 17 or just paranoia? PICS ADDED

I'm 17 and around 1 year ago, in the space of maybe a few months my hair went from a nw1 to around a nw1.75 and hasn't seemed to moved since. I go through these weird phases of worrying that I am receding, lasting maybe a few weeks. When I'm in one of these phases, it's very severe, I will literally check my hair every hour, and admittedly possibly damage the hairline by furiously pulling it back. Seriously looking at it there is probably no difference from a year ago, apart from maybe the sides moving out a bit. I have naturally thin hair like my mother and her mother, which leads me to believe I inherited my hair traits from my mothers side. The only baldness experienced in my mothers side was my mothers dad who went bald around his late 50 early 60s but had a full head of hair throughout his life. My mother doesn't think I receding, but some part of me thinks this is down to the thought that, I'm 17, receding doesn't occur at that age, which it can, right? My dad and his parents have a full head of hair. I went to the go when I had the first of these phases, and he said that there were no apparent signs of balding, but I'm doubtful about his inspection. Should I somehow convince my mother to book me a revisit with a different GP, perhaps to get a different opinion. Thx for reading this long post lol.

Sorry man but we need some pictures to make an opinion.

And I can empathize with you, I have been to several doctors most general physicians and the truth is they don't know SH*T about male pattern baldness. You need to set up an appointment with a dermatologist or cosmetic dermatologist. They specialize in the field and can give you a real assessment. If you noticed something, it's possible you really are receding. I've been exactly where you are, everyone except you thinks you're fine, but its not true. They don't see yourself like you do. Take these worries seriously and book and appointment.

Also once again, if you want an opinion from the forum you need to post a photo.
