Yep that's right, might sound like a dumb question. But I notice that my left side of my hair is a bit thinner then my right. I don't really know which side I sleep on nor do I think it matters, but any ideas why? Or maybe they're both the same, I originally thought since I part my hair too my right, there's less hair covering my left and more on my right which makes it appear that way idk. Will include images
top ones of left side
bottom of right side

It's possible. When I'm having a buzz cut I can clearly see that the hair on my left grows/parts itself in a different way from the hair at the right side of my scalp. On my right side the hair seems more, on the left I have a weird parting between the scalp and the sides, where the hair grows inbetween the sides (downwards) and the front (straight) making that area look thinner.
