Premade RU solutions: any success, or are they a waste of time and cash?

@CopeLikeThePope i've been using about 150mg a day and the miniaturising hairs in my corners have now slowly gone terminal and are slowly growing ! I've been using 50mg in 1ml in the morning (PG, Ethanol, Transcutol) and 100mg in 3ml at night. I wouldn't consider my hair loss overly aggressive so bare that in mind.

Like you i worried about up regulation, however @IdealForehead has covered this topic recently which seems pretty sound. My opinion is the up regulation is minimal, and in the event of stopping Ru or any topical anti androgen your receptor sensitivity will soon regulate itself back to normal.

No side effects to report - my libido might have actually gone up ??? lol

AAre you using daily? what doses? also any aesthetic results yet? halting of hair loss? more loss? did you had a scalp itch and it helped stopping it?

Im collecting data of people that use RU daily since im worried about androgen upregulation causing even more hairloss with chronic usage, this is why I haven't tried it yet, but so far I've seen a couple people using it daily reporting good results. I need more data and more time of usage tho.

I'll tell you what I can:

My regiment these days is as follows for a 1 week time frame:
  1. Every day: 0.5mg dutasteride and Biotin supplement(for good luck) in the morning, 8% RU and 5% minoxidil, 30 min apart at night
  2. Every other day: 2% keto shampoo
  3. Every 3 days: Theradome laser helmet thing (wtf knows if it works but it makes my head feel warm so that's nice)
  4. Once a week: Dermaroll and dermastamp 1.5mm (weekend outings? who needs those, stay inside and save some money)
The dermaroll and RU every days is new to my regiment as of two weeks ago.

I miss the days when cutting a quarter of 5mg finasteride every day would work wonders, then dutasteride helped a lot.

Nowadays I think my body is just running it's course and there's not much else I can really do about it as I slowly climb up the norwood scale.
Who knows, I'll keep trying and I plan to give this regiment a solid 3-4 month before doing anything new.

I think one of the things I'm missing is a solid PGE2 supplement but not sure where to get that or where I could even fit it into my current plan.

EDIT: I haven't noticed any negative side effects as of yet btw.

Hope that helps!
