He is in a tough position being royal. As a royal he is expected to have hair but at the same time not show insecurity by having a hair transplant -media would have a field day and it would always be mentioned. This would be very unroyal like. He also can't shave, even a white guy with a professional job doesn't look great shaven even if it suits him, let alone a royal! A skinhead and royal doesn't go. He has no choice but to dare I say bald in a more refined historical way. Beards, longer back and sides with a bit of a comb over. Kind of like prince charles. .
This. If you think society expects normal guys to just suck it up, the situation is exponentially worse for the royals.

But on the other hand, he is loaded and married to a babe.

If I was loaded like he is and married to a hottie like that I wouldn't give a crap if I was rocking a full horseshoe.

His looks have definitely gone downhill drastically since he was 17. It's not just the hair loss. It's his whole face. He has aged very badly to be honest.

There's no doubt that Prince Harry is also starting to show signs of male pattern baldness. His crown looks a lot thinner than it used to be. I bet he's probably on Propecia.

Speaking of which, there's another Harry I can think of who I bet is also on Propecia, namely Harry Styles from One Direction. His temple points look really far back in some of his photos (NW2.5, I would say).
