Hello,

Almost 8 years with Fina + minoxidil. I was able to maintain with up and big down. Always had problems with itchy scalp and dandruff.

Tried all shampoos possible, keto, piroctone, selenium, nourishing, bio etc etc. Was never able to have a good scalp condition.

Game changer with the probiotic shampoo. Almost no itch, no dandruff, less hair in the hands and I definitely get better regrow.

I hope it helps some people with scalp issues because it has been a long road for me. I’m happy I finally found something which works.

I use mothebiome since about 2-3 weeks now, based on topical probiotics for hairloss: https://mothebiome.com/, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38807549/

I ordered 3x60ml for about 120usd including forwarding from korea and shipping.
I use 1ml per day so it will last me for 6 months.

I apply it at night about 1hour after my topical minoxidil.

Hi,

It’s this one below. But to be fair I will try another brand with probiotics when I finished the bottle because it’s making hair dry. I don’t really care since it’s helping, I could live with it.

Be carefull not all probiotics are good for hair.

The best probiotics for hairloss are LM1020 and BB536.

LM1020 is used in Mothebiome topical lotion :

Heat-treated Limosilactobacillus fermentum LM1020 with menthol, salicylic acid, and panthenol promotes hair growth and regulates hair scalp microbiome balance in androgenetic alopecia: A double-blind, randomized and placebo-controlled clinical trial

and BB536 which cannot be found yet in any topical lotion but can be purchase for eating. By eating BB536 probiotics, gut will extract some metabolites wich will go in blood and then be transported to follicules. It would be better to apply theses metabolites topically but there is no lotion with it yet.

The metabolites of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 alleviate DHT-damaged human dermal papilla cells by activating WNT/β-catenin signaling

I’m a health nut so I’ll probably end up researching this shampoo now that your trying it.. Currently I’m adding a lipid cream to my scalp after my regimen.. I’ll have to examine my scalp today but yesterday after shower scalp/hair seemed to be healthier.. I may be hallucinating & I’ll examine closer..But my main point perhaps the scalp is losing fat underneath it or the scalp skin itself is too dry which makes sebum production increase which inflames the scalp & so on..
I dunno I saw an interesting video on wrinkles we all have & this lady was saying wrinkles start to form primarily because skin is dehydrated.. I thought WHAT? Then she demonstrated how she treats patients.. & I tried to replicate what she said .. & damn if she wasn’t correct..
So just throwing that out there

They got the probiotic from sourdough…

2 MATERIALS AND METHODS

2.1 Isolation of L. fermentumLM1020

The sourdough was obtained from a local bakery in Jinju, South Korea. Sourdough was cut into 10 g pieces and homogenized in 90 mL of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) using a stomacher. Homogenized samples were collected in sterilized tubes and spread onto de Man-Rogosa-Sharpe (MRS) agar (BD, Franklin Lakes, NJ, USA). The plates were then incubated at 37°C for 48 h. After incubation, opaque white colonies were isolated and further incubated to measure acid production, catalase activity, and Gram stain.10 The catalase-negative, Gram-positive, acid-producing rod-type strain was named LM1020 and was further identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing as L. fermentum. L. fermentum LM1020 was stored at −80°C in an MRS medium containing 20% glycerol until the experiments. The 16S rRNA sequence information is shown in Table S1.
