whats up bros,

i had some acne problems after starting propecia. it hit around my 3rd to 4th month pretty bad. my shoulders were all pimply and my face was breaking out. so my buddies on my fitness board told me to take 1000mg of pantothenic acid a day. 500mg in the morning and 500mg at night. they use this to combat steriod related acne and it works. i started the first week with 1000mgs in the morning and a 1000mgs at night and my back is friggin clear. and my face is cleared up. its been about 2 weeks now. so anyone experiencing these same problems, try it. it worked for me, i may work for you too.

Pantothenic Acid

It comes in pill form. im sure you could get it in a powder and buy it in bulk but its so cheap and the capsules come in 250, 500 or 1000. i got 500's and take them that way.

i think 500mg at 300 pills were only like 12 to 18 bucks. somewhere around there. i baught vitamin shoppe brand. they always give a discount right off the top like 20 to 30% off.

pantothenic acid:

Pantothenic acid (PA), a B-complex vitamin, is essential for humans and animals for growth, reproduction, and normal physiological functions. It is a precursor of the coenzymes, CoA and acyl carrier protein of fatty acid synthase, which are involved in more than 100 different metabolic pathways including energy metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids, and the synthesis of lipids, neurotransmitters, steroid hormones, porphyrins and hemoglobin.

The only thing that happens if you take too much is that its exrcreted out in your urine and may make it smell like vitamins.

I am not the guy but I use it daily I use the Neutrongena body scrub and it seems to work good, though at 34yrs I would have hoped my zits would disappear on my back- I have had them since the tender age of 14.

Get a load of this one, forgot to tell you guys- read in a bodybuilding Magazine that Nizoral 2% works great at killing zits on your body, no sh*t even went to my derm in 1994 and he prescribed it for just such things at my request. It worked great but I stopped using it as it was kinda expensive for a body scrub. I had the Dynacin antibiotics as well and that is what I stuck with. No Propecia breakouts after 2 months on, hopefully.

you still get zits on your back at 35??? oh man, i was hoping they'd eventually go away. i'm 25 now, and it looks like i'll be one of those guys who will always have some acne on his back.
