There are drugs to help prevent gyno from developing. I believe Tomixifen is one of those.

I know for a fact that it causes gyno..
keep in mind that I am very athletic and the slightest change in my physique is noticable.
I started noticing puffy nipples about a month and a half into finasteride..
I felt for lumps.. felt nothing.. so did nothing..
then about 2 weeks later.. i felt for lumps again.. and there was one in under one of my nipples..
I immediatly got my hands on some tamoxifen and have been busting gyno ever since.

I don't think tamoxifen or any anti-gyno can possibly be good long term.. so i don't know what to do at this point.?!?

Before I started propecia I had a lump under nipples.

I had them ever since teenager years. Never bothered me much, as I´ve never been fat and I have strong pecs, so they go unnoticed.

I´ve been more or less a year on the finasteride and no changes in there.

But now I´m thinking into remove them surgically. It´s not such a worry for me, but I better have them removed. Is it a complicated op??

What do you think??

i'm sure it's not a complicated op.. they probabaly just go right under your nipple and cut the stuff out.

I don't know if that would be a "cure" for it though. but it'll take away what you have now.

This is all BS. Theres a huge difference between gyno and getting puffy nipples and breast tenderness. And those of you taking tamoxifen to try and fight this pseudo-gyno are being very reckless. Its a drug used in Oncology for christ sake.

not again Britannia. please give others a bit of room to breath and have their own point of view.

it fine with me if you wanted to share your thought. but coming in with "what you all are saying is BS!!!" is not going to help anyone. there is no wrong topic but only wrong way of explaining it.

i know you might not care about what other think except expressing yourself. either do us. but insulting others opinion as BS is hardly respectful to other forums users as well.

please, even if you think we are wrong. at least give us the right to do so. sharing your opinion is fine but do give a little bit of due respect to others.

Hey PVT...Update went to the Doctor on Friday do not have gyno, he advised that my 'very slight puffiness' was due to taking Propecia. However my Doctor said not everyone will have this side effect while taking it.

Stop wondering and get an Estrogen test and be done with it. There is no value in sharing your opinion if you're not going to get the necessary test to verify it or not. You do more harm than good to sit here and whine. People see your posts, get paranoid, freak out, and stop taking the most proven product out there. That is harming people. Not helping them. Get tested.

Update went to the Doctor on Friday do not have gyno
Surprise.
