Propecia only restoring right side of hair line

This is weird. About 2 months after starting Propecia (actually Propecia and Minoxidil), I notice robust regrowth on the right side of my hair line. Nothing seems to be happening on the left. Now, 3 months later, the right side has filled it and merged with the pre-existing hair. Nothing on the left. Anyone else experience this?

As far as the crown, I don't "feel" much of a difference, although I'm told that it is growing in.

what side do you sleep on? I always sleep on my right side and there's little doubt that the right side is worse... I can only assume the two are related

Yup, I sleep on the left sid primarily. Thankfully, since I posted I have seen the slightest signs of growth on the left. It was just lagging behind, I suppose. But I am shocked and truly amazed with what happened on the right side. I mean a full 3/4 to 1 inch of vigorous and dense growth of real hair that also filled in the corners. And after only 2 to 3 months. Amazing! I'm 37, and I don't think I had a hair line like this even at 18 years old, as my hair loss starting in my mid-teens. I could shoot myself for not starting several years ago. I really didn't expect to grow much hair. My strategy was just to hang on until multiplication was perfected. Now I may not even need that.

On another subject, seems the minoxidil is turning my arms and hands into hairy appendages (i wish it worked this well on my head!). Anyone else experience this? I'm thinking of (gulp) shaving or waxing.

Good to hear u r getting great results SethAus!! i am just wondering which brand and % of minoxidil u r using? Did u buy it from a local chemist or purchase online??

my story sounds like yours. My hairline on the right was a good bit worse than the left, but it's looking like it's gonna surpass my left temple at this point. Just like you, it looks like I may have a hailine that I can't ever remembr having at all, cept when I was a kid maybe. Im 30 and slowly losing hair since 17. Im glad I caught it kind of late!!

Im at 3 and a half months (no minoxidil) and have vellus turning dark 3/4 to an inch in front of my pre-existing hairline (temple/corners) The left is seeing progress too, but not a radical a change.

Not a real cosmetic change, mind you, but enough change to give me the impression of a big cosmetic change months down the line. The vertex is getting much better and the top is also thickening up. Pleased as pie here.
