I will always want to keep my hair, but I would be willing to sacrifice it for my health and future sex life in the event that I settled down. I would rather have a wife watch kids grow up than have a full head of hair.

What about the fact that Proscar has been out a lot longer then finasteride? Its also 5 times stronger and we don't seem to hear to many horror stories on the stuff. I will agree that Propecia does cause some decrease in libido, Im going through it right now. However, penis shrinkage just seems too extreme. I don't know, maybe in a few more years we will have a more clear answer, for now I will stick to my 1 mg dossage and hope to keep what I have in my head.

Not necessarily... Remember that the age groups are VERY different.

On a side note, Dr Lee really started becoming anit-finasteride around the time Xandrox %15 came out.

Actually some people HAVE reported this on the Yahoo Finasteride side effects group... and this was a while back.

WHo's reseaching these things? If its not a credible research institute(for example, the University of California) how can you be sure about it? Try to find out who came up with these studies. :roll:

There are plenty of people floating about on hairloss forums that have been on proscar for 5-10 years and i do not recall one of them saying their dick has got smaller...If you look hard enough you can probably find a study that says 'men who drive big cars have small willies'

If proscar does shrink your c*** it will be to such a small unnoticeable amount that it ain't even worth thinking about.

In fact all this thread proves is there are alot of people with small dicks worried about losing a precious 0.01mm of size :lol:

Did you see the study posted two pages back showing that lack of DHT causes fibrosis of penis tissues? yes it was done with rats and does not necessarily translate to humans... but it is food for thought.

Actually, I have read posts from finesteride users over 4 years ago, that they felt like their penis' shrunk. Four years ago. It wasnt untill recently that people started to bring it up more and more.

Just read a couple of disturbing articles that stated that long term use of finasteride was directly related to serious sexual disfunction problems including Penis shrinkage.

These claims seem to be a bit far off.. but have any of you read conclusive studies about this?

Can you provide a source for the rest of us to study?
