hello everyone,

I've been on minoxidil and nano (prox-n and shampoo) for several months. i am getting new hairs on hairline and temple that have been bare for a few years.

i am thinking of starting propecia but will that help growing the tiny hair i have from the minoxidil/nano? or is propeica mostly to stop hair from falling out?

i'm not losing much hair at all and currently maintaining what i have. i see very few hairs when i shower with my current regime. so i wonder if the propecia will grow hair or will it do nothing but maintain?

thank you all.

The active incredient in Propecia (finasteride) is the single best DHT blocker in the market. You need to add it to your regimen. It will complement your current regimen by allowing the minoxidil to become uninterupted by the DHT in your scalp. You can buy the active incredient in Propecia, finasteride from finpecia on an online pharmacy this site promotes for cheaper and without a prescription. I've used it and know that it's legit. Give finasteride up to a year to gage its effectiveness. You can buy 1mg capsules of finpecia and cut them in half to .5 mg and the drug will still be as effective. You should also add nizoral to your regimen. It is essential. With this combo and a little patience I bet you will stop your hair loss dead in its tracks! Good luck and if you haven't already, read the information about these products on this site.

thanks for the info. i've been using nizoral as well, just forgot to mention it.. also taking 320mg of saw palmetto and biosil.. (sh*t makes my nails grow, so it at least makes something grow!)

i am really nervous about taking anything made overseas and also not 100% sure the finasteride would be the real stuff and what it could actually contain (fillers, etc)...

i went to the pharmacy and got 30 propecia pills for $75 and i will cut them in half so it'll last me 2 months. the doctor will only give me one refill at a time.

have you guys had any success in trying to get a doctor to prescribe proscar? what i find absurd is the medical covers the proscar but not the propecia, yet its the same f*****g drug!

Well. Proscar is indicated for benign prostate hyperplasia which is actually of some medical concern, that's probably why it's covered. Anything you take for cosmetic purposes won't be covered.

My doctor prescribed me Proscar no problem after I took Propecia for 3 months and said I'd had no sides.
