Propecia Side Effects Question

Hey,

Recently (2 months ago) I started taking Propecia, 0.25mg every day. I also take zinc just to keep my sex drive (which isn't so high usually, but I could still have sex 3 times a session).
I did that because my uncle took it for 6 years without any sexual side effect (nor crash after stopping).

I think the medication made me slight a little less horny, but not something serious.

However, 2 different new side effects came up, I'm not sure whether these sides are from Propecia or just in my head.

The first one is short-term memory loss. I tend to be more forgetful than usual (in addition to my severe ADHD).

The second is one being more apathetic. I seem to care less about stuff and have less motivation. This comes in different aspect (for example, I was studying German and recently I lost some interest).

I wonder whether these side effects are in my head and if they're not -- how to get them away.

Also, if I would stop Propecia for a week, would that be enough to see if these effects are reversed or not? (0.25mg every day, so I would even try going cold turkey?)

I started Propecia after many other topical treatments (Minoxidil 5\15, azelaic acid, nizoral shampoo). All of them were helpful, but not enough to be a permanent solution. (and nobody wants to get bald at 21).

Best,
bis_bald.

Also another weird side effect, I feel that my voice's pitch is much higher and that my voice in general is weaker.

seems to me you dont have any reason to be worried, you had minimal side effects. What they say is that in the first months into fina occurs strange
effects because is a hormonal drug but then stabilizes. Without that you are having a good efect? No shedding? Hair loss stoped?

So I took 0.5mg and 2 days later I was much less horny, but I saw actually 0 hairs on my keyboard.
Then I switched to 0.25EOD and my libido was higher than before I started finasteride, but I experienced a massive shedding.
now with 0.25ED I experience mild shedding (but only "healthy" hairs now, so I guess it might be the initial shedding of finasteride).
I plan to increase the dosage to 0.5ED back soon, hoping that my body won't receive the last shock I received previously.
If it does, I'll just get back to 0.25EOD.

Also interesting to mention, my 'mild' shedding started right when I went on 0.25ED and added Zinc.
