Propecia so far...

I'm on my 2nd bottle of finasteride, about half way thru it, and so far I haven't noticed any side effects that I'm aware of. It seems weird to me because it seems that my facial hair is growing faster then before, I'm having to shave more often and as far as the sexual side effects I haven't had any, it's kinda been reversed because I've noticed that I've been more in the mood lately and it seems my desire has gotten more as of late, and I haven't lost any sperm it seems like I'm having a little more as a matter of fact. I'm not really sure how to check for the gyno beause I'm well devolped in the chest anyway so I'm not really sure as far as that goes but I think I don't have that..
I haven't realy noticed any changed in my hair yet, I've been so terrifed about what's going to happen to me in the upcoming months on propecia i've actually considered stopping it butif i keep using it, have i passed the point as to where i might not have any side effects from it since I haven't yet?I'm still debating if I should stop taking it more so for my mental state of mind then physical at least right now anyways.

why stop taking it? i thought propecia would ease your mind if anything. think about it, you are using the best proven medication to keep and thicken your hair.

well, when you read all the bad things that ppl post about it with the side effects..it tends to get in your mind and make you wait for the worse to happen..espically if u dont see any positive results at all from it

Chris, you shouldn't pay so much attention to the negative posts here. Lets say you were about to buy a new computer but wanna do some research first and go to a computer forum, then you will probably only see posts like "my computer is chrashing all the time" and " I cant install my video card" but no posts like "my computer is working soooooooooo great"...because if your computer is working there is no point for you to hang at the computer forum....get my point?

yeah, you're right..i was just thinking about that earlier today about maybe the ones with good results dont come back to post, my derm even told me that when he prescribed it to me he's never had anyone complain to him or report bad results with it, he said he never even heard of it so that made me feel kinda better about it when i started..and im feeling pretty good because i havent got any bad effects yet from it..but seeing ppl's negative posts here about it has my mind playing tricks on me, but you're right about what you said, thanks for the reply

side effects have been tiny for me, and short lived. big and permanent side effects arent very common. just be safe in the knowledge that youre using the most proven treatment for hairloss now, and try not to think about it as much. dont search for results every day, wait till you notice them. how long have you been on finasteride? 2nd bottle, what does this mean, month 2? if so, thats not long enough to tell. have faith in the treatment!
