And mine...
Before finasteride:
Diffuse thinner with nw1 for over 10 yrs with very slow thinning over that time. No one would say I was losing hair.
After 19 months daily propecia:
Still shedding like before finasteride, but have a bald spot about 1 inch wide at vertex now and recession at left temple by about an inch as well. Will hold out to 2y mark perhaps and hope.

Before finasteride:
Norwood 1.5ish with a bit of thinning, hairline in tact but the thinning occurs beyond the hairline. thinning slowly for about 4 yrs. i had 0 use for toppik, hair looked good enough to attract females
After 5-6 months finasteride:
people telling me im getting balder and balder and my hair is thinning rapidly, absolutely no sign of hope, no light at the end of the tunnel, not even a hint that finasteride is gonna help me stabilize, i become best friends with toppik, i then added dutasteride to my finasteride
although libido was fine with finasteride, still have morning wood now and then
After ~9 months finasteride and 3-4 months dutasteride:
i have to use more and more toppik everyday, every time i run my hands thru my hair shitloads of hairs fall out, libido is down, i dont get any morning wood at all ever, my dick is literally always flacid, mental fatigue, i feel like i am not myself, i was hoping dutasteride would stop my hairloss but now im completely lost and dont know what to do, losing hair and mentally/physically feeling like sh*t is not a good combo
Post finasteride/dutasteride - 6 months break:
I said f*** it and quit everything, at this point im basically using a lot of toppik and living my life trying not to think about hair. i fell like i becoming an animal again, i was attacking the weights at the gym, waking up with boners, erection quality was better
i was still losing hair, but there is no way i was losing more hair than i did on finasteride/dutasteride
Back on finasteride - 7 months and counting
i thought to myself what the hell im losing hair anyway so i might as well go back on either finasteride or dutasteride for 1-2 full years to give it one last shot i would see a miracle after 1+ year. i wanted to go back on dutasteride and only dutasteride this time but then i remember that shitty feeling on it, and the feeling of getting a limp dick and not being able to enjoy pertrified me more than losing my hair, which is why i went back to finasteride.
my hair still falls off way too easily ... i added minoxidil foam about 4 months ago thank g0d at least i respond well to minoxidil, it's been helping me, but i still haven't tackled the main problem of halting or at least slowing down my hair loss
im using legit propecia brand from my local pharmacy, still being slightly optimistic perhaps after 1+ years i might see some results
worst case scenario, gonna get big fck is i go bald
