Just a quick question. Ive read on this site that if you just want to maintain your hairline you should just use Propecia, however, what if that doesn't work and the hairline is further back before minoxidil use is started?? I figure if I hit it head on (pardon the pun!!!) with minoxidil at the start, hopefully my hair line will grow thicker and if the propecia doesn't work for me then I will still be in a better position at that point in time (i.e with thicker hair) than what i would be if I had just used Propecia......any suggestions???

This website is fantastic.... You are all legends..... :)

We al wished it worked like that but the answer is no. They use different machanisms to work so hair gained from the rogaine part of your regimine will need rogaine to keep.

I have made the mistake before of having great gains off rogaine and then thinking if I kept taking avodart I would no longer need to use minoxidil to keep those minoxidil gains. I was wrong and had to start all over again with minoxidil this Feb after my hair had thinned out noticably.

Propecia has been invented to prevent those who have the male pattern baldness gene to reproduce
