Propecia: When does magic begin?

My loss started 1 month before taking propecia so I was hoping to regain at least some ground. But it seems like its downhill all the way. I'm not even sure if it is 11 month of finasteride induced shedding as its a fairly constant 'shed' throughout this period.

You had 1 month of hairloss and decided to start on Propecia !!!!!???

1 month !!

How much hair can you lose in a month ?

1 month of noticeable loss. Went from 'can't see through the scalp' to obvious diffuse thinning. I've cut my hair short (#5) but its still damn obvious.

All you can do is know that it's probably reducing the aggressive loss that would have occurred if you never took it. Mate, dont expect to suddenly have hair as dense as a unshaven bever because of it. The chances are its DEFINATELY doing something.

It does amaze me that you only had hairloss for 1 month... sh*t i recon i noticed it like 1-2 years before i started treatment... oh well at least you caught it early. How about you put a pic up so we can see what your talking about?

for me the magic set in at the middle of the 5th month, in the last 2 months my vertex has become thicker and the temples regrew a bit.

Temples are such a b**ch. 5 year on finasteride and the temples keep going back very slowly...don't expect major changes there, except keeping it still for a while...

6 months and I cant tell the difference -- though perhaps that says something? I have slight frontal loss, that has been gradual so not sure...

Thinking about stopping as perhaps what I have isn't preventable by propecia anyway...
