How long have you been taking finasteride? If its under 3 months, i would say don't stop! Wait till 6 months or so

I took it for a few days, lost a ton of hair and stopped for 4 days and took it again yesterday and lost a huge amount of hair

Oddly enough I now have significantly less shedding after not taking it today, same as what happened last time I didn’t take it until I developed that awful itch (which I don’t really have right now)

It is not necessary that telogen effluvium will occur after 3 months of starting treatment. It could start as soon as you take it! Trust me shave everything off, start finasteride. And nizrol and just after your hair will grow 3-4 inches, yoully see the difference!

I have thickened my hair little on finasteride and nizrol! But my hair is about 4 inch long and when i part my hair i can see tons if thin(not that thin) hairs growing! I am amazed how much it can do! I am thinking of making my longer hair a little short to so i can level them and it will look nice later on whenit grows long

The treatments can cause Telogen Effluvium at random times. Minoxidil usually causes it within the first couple of weeks. Finasteride is a little different as it is not really widely accepted (the manufacturer does not say this will get worse first) that it causes a shed though we can say it does based on experiences.

Hyperandrogencity is something that is thrown around a lot on internet forums however Finasteride is actually a pretty mild 'anti androgen' as it only partially reduces DHT and does not affect testosterone levels or its ability to activate receptors so your body freaking out is highly mitigated. Literally on internet forums they are so freaked out about their hair loss that they just start making random statements about the treatment and it causes a lot of misinformation.

As I told you in an earlier post, if you can't stick with the treatment then don't do it. Finasteride has been proven through multiple multi million dollar trials to work for the majority of men (70-80%).

Well after that initial huge shed my shedding actually decreased below baseline and my itch is definitely less than when I started... not quite sure what I should do that initial shed scared the crap out of me
