Let me start by saying that Propecia has worked for me. I started on 2 x 1mg tablets a week in the summer of 2022, before moving up to 3x a week later that year, as recommended by a hair transplant surgeon I was in consultation with. The medication has worked so well that I no longer feel the need for a hair transplant. From being flat, fragile and lifeless, my hair is now strong, long, full and buoyant. I am delighted with the results, and have regained my confidence.

I'd had no side effects at all, but over the last 8 months or so, I have been waking up at anywhere between 2-5 in the morning, and struggling to fall back asleep. I don't struggle to fall asleep initially, and have a healthy sleep routine, that I stick to 7 days a week (I'm in bed for 10, read for an hour, and have put my phone away by 9). Now, these issues have coincided with a period of immense stress - namely a boss who used to relentlessly take credit for all of my work, a hectic work schedule, and more recently, setting up and running my own business. However, having never suffered with sleep issues before, regardless of how stressful life may've been (although this period has been by far and away the most challenging), I would be foolish not to consider the potential impact of the only medication I take, Propecia, especially given some of the stuff I've read online.

I'd be interested to know what the chemical reason for this might be, and if anyone's found anything to help combat the issue? Of course, given how effective the medication has been, I am hoping the issues aren't being caused by it, but I am certainly alert to the possibility that it could be a factor.

I recently had a serious cold, and took Night Nurse before bed - and slept fantastically. Not looking to get hooked on cough syrup, though!

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

This summer, I faced some significant troubles with my sleep. It got so bad that I had to seek help from professionals, as I was constantly tired at work and it affected my productivity and overall well-being. Sleep is crucial, and I realized I needed to address the issue rather than just pushing through. Now, I’m exploring Mobe reviews to see if their services might provide the support I need to improve my sleep quality. I’ve heard positive things about their approaches, and I'm hopeful that they can offer some effective solutions. It’s frustrating to feel drained all the time, so I’m eager to find something that truly works.
