proscar doesn't work like propecia..

almost 2 years I got propecia everyday it was working perfectly but last 2 years I started to take proscar(1/4) it works but not like propecia I lost my new hairs that I had got them thanks to propecia..and now I can control hairloss by proscar thats all...

Maybe lessening of effectiveness due to it being 2 years of being on it. Some people report effectiveness waning in that amount of time. Perhaps an increase in dose, or a switch to dutasteride?
