Well my doctor could not prescribe me proscar because of many reasons.

And she knows its the samething as propecia.

Anyway, what do you guys use to split it into 5 pieces, do you use any weighting tools?

i just use a pill cutter and cut into half and half again.

This is not completely accurate but it does not matter as you are getting 5 mg over 4 days.

Have you used propecia before, you don't feel any difference?

No i haven't used propecia but there is no difference between the two.

proscar = 5 mg of finasteride
propecia = 1 mg of finasteride

both the same thing.

you could use a pill cutter or even a knife to cut the proscar in 1/5ths...its no biggie..

I use one of these - it also doubles up as a pill holder to hold your cut up pieces of proscar.

buy a box cutter razor from home depot...couple bucks...very good cuts. cut into 5 pieces and place in contact lens holder. Works wonders for me.
