proscar vs propecia and price

Hi I wanted to ask how much propecia costs and also is proscar as effective? I started rogaine foam and nizodal a week ago and wanted to add one of these.

Proscar is the same drug as propecia, just a different dose. Surely on a per equal dose of ingredient proscar is cheaper route.

I have used propesia and i find it really cheap and it works great

Like LafOfThelema said, it's the same drug in different doses (made by the same company).

If you can get Proscar prescribed then go for it and get a pill cutter so you can cut the pills into 4. The only difference is that it will be 0.25mg more per dose than Propecia (which is 1mg).

The doctor should have no problem prescribing proscar. It only costs me $10/month.

Fincar quatered has got be the cheapest method.

I will try brand name propecia for a year and then switch. It is ridiculosly expensive compared to the generics.

My reasoning for Propecia over generics is that it's the only one I can really trust to be what it says it is, since it's officially produced and sold as a proper product. With generics, although I am sure many are fine, you don't get that guarantee.

Perhaps in years to come the generics - like with paracetamol and most other easily available drugs - will be just as good (perhaps even Propecia will depreciate in value).

Okay I went through Medical Wellcenter and to get a prescription for proscar. Now I am wondering if I should have gotten one for avodart instead. But hopefully this works. I will be using the proscar cut in 4ths with rogaine foam twice a day and nizoral twice a week.
