if you are trying to gain weight, get a weight gainer, and contrary to what was posted most quality weight gainers do have maltodextrose, but when taken correctly these will help you gain muscle mass, not fat. CytoGainer is a good product, but if there is a NutriShop near you their in house product Mass Complex cannot be beat.

Also, lifting once a week won't do sh*t, start lifitng 5 times if you can, just keep the workouts under an hour with good form; don't try to do big weight. This will help you gain mass and strength.
