PROVEN MEDS v REST Discussion.

First of all.. There is a permanent cure for baldness. It is a plant located south of Damascus in the Middle East (forgotten the Arabic term for it). It was used for centuries by the Syrians to cure baldness but the land it grows in is in despute between Syria and Israel so unaccessable by both nations! Never heard of it? You wouldn't of have unless you did some research on this specifically. The plant is mashed into a creamy liquid and placed once on the scalp. The follicle absorbs, and this plant or cure sticks to the receptor sites on your hairs, and stays there for decades, blocking all immune-rejections and DHT attacks. Its the only plant that stays locked onto your receptors. I personally know someone who used this plant, he is now 57 yrs old, and actually found some reading on it.

So it goes to prove, PROVEN MEDS are exactly just that! Meds that have been proven to work in some people. That does NOT mean other methods may not. So the comments on this forum about "sticking with the proven meds" really is a lamons way of looking at it.

If your too bald to experiment, then yes, stick with Propecia and minoxidil.

If you still have lots of hair, stay away from them until you've tried what you can that claims to be safe and decise. And just because it doesn't work for some, is irrelevant. If 10 out of 100 people failed, surprise surprise you'll find 10 posts on this forum complaining, and no 90 to brag.

Saw Palmetto, Zinc, Vit B6, Alz Acid.. Ayuervedic medicines.. the list goes on. If its worked for just ONE person, then it has some sort of credibility.

What we SHOULD be doing on this forum, is finding a cure to OUR problems, and not our hair loss. By that I mean.. Finding a solution to end our ridiculous excessive regimens to find something simple, easy to use, and effective.

It should be a regimen that
1. Only need to be applied a max 5 times a week.
2. At LEAST maintains hair.
3. Is not expensive, has no side affects and as concerning as brushing your teeth.

If your thick minded, you'll immediate decide there is no treatment/s. I beg to differ. This regimen may not be the same for all, but it should consist of the above points regardless.

Lets get something going about finding alternative solutions to our LIFE STYLES in fighting hair loss. We have time..

Everyone who doesn't want to be bald, Expedition "Norwood'be'gone": my house at 6am, bring your full body armour, anti air missiles, camel reppelant and minoxidil of course if we don't find anything and HairCoverage is just pulling our leg. I wouldn't want you to go bald in the middle of the desert, I hear the sun is nasty this time of year.

Ok, i dont think im being thick minded when i say that if this regimen existed no one would ever be bald again. Who the hell would take hormone-altering drugs or apply multiple topicals to their head every day if they could maintain their hair with such cheap, ridiculous ease?

This might work for one person, as you said. But it's one a million...[/i]

Back in 'Nam we were fightin Charlie in Naarr'wahd when I saw a flash of fucken purple violet light, and this leprechaun burst outta nowhere on accounta God or Destiny or somethin' an started zappin the bejeezus out of us. Strange thing was, each time he zapped us, hair started growin out on the patches he hit. Then he scrambled - zammo! An then our hair fell out again. Dagnabbit!

Ah then had me one of my epiphanies. All this hair cure nonsense aint gone do diddley without that doggone leprechaun. Moral of the story, kids -Find the leprechaun and you will be saved from bein a baldy.

Rod Stewart's semen is the only thing that we really know stops hairloss and regrows terminal hair.

Don't know guys...

In regards to the cure... When you go through what most of you have been through its hard to take it in.. But the things Ive heard, the evidence Ive seen.. This man showed me a pic in his wallet when he was 30 yrs.. he was bald like a mofo.. He ain't now. No signs of hair transplant, he didn't even know what propecia/minoxidil was (struggles with english too).. and his son confirms what his dad tells me.. I truly believe it.

As to regards the regimen. Guys I've been a professional boxer for 8 years, and let me tell you one thing. It's not the quantity but the quality of the fighter.. If something out there is a big hair loss fighter, then quantity becomes less of an issue.. I believe something out there, may not be the same for all of us, but something for each one of us, gives us an opportunity to use an easy regimen to solve our problems. I think it just gets harder the more hair you've lost pshycologically and physically.

Think about it. Merck tell us we need to take ONE tablet, every 24 HOURS. What a coincidence. And we lose our hair again if we don't? Funny... a Hair Restore Clinic only needs to see you ONCE a WEEK and I know ppl who've grown sh*t loads back in 8 months. It's just not clicking with me.

Quantity of use means more purchase of product which means profit. No company who can help you, will give you the chance to use their stuff once a week, it just ain't worth it for them.. Well f*** them, it can be done and I'm finding the solution.

Expected..

Well I can't say I expect alot of people to have that kind of attitude.

But lemme say this.

I worked for a pharm. company as a salesperson. We produced a once a day pill for a particular problem many people have. I won't say what but I will say this.

EVERYONE was under the impression that this once-a-day pill was the only closest solution to their problem. And LIKE propecia, needed to be consistent once a day. It was the EXACT same mentality most people on this forum have. When I read responses and mentalities, I smile because I remember our clients from my old job. They were so god damn sure nothing more could be done, they condemned anyone who brought up the very idea that Im bringing across as a person trying to ruin their hopes n dreams.

What they didn't know: The low dosage pill had ONE ingredient removed to shorten the half-life of the pill, making it a must for once a day. Otherwise this pill could be extended to once every 4 days. ALL companies do this, find that 1 ingredient, and ull increase the half-life of the pill. But obviously can't be done as a home-job.

Anyways, I'll retire this theory.. my problem is, because I've been exposed to these things, I feel like I wantt to jump up and down screaming and pointing to the blind people who keep telling me they can't see anything. Well thats how I feel.. But, yeah I don't want people barking at me, I don't blame em, they've been on these regimens for years, the depression of knowing something could of been done isn't worth it and I don't want to be the messenger anymore. So topic closed!

I presently work in IT for a top 5 pharma company, this guy has a point about pills, Pharmas screw everyone for money. The dosing theory has a good basis, the other theory on the plant in damascas may not be! I dunno stranger things happen....

P.S: Merck are F*CKERS

Ummm... without Merck there would be no finasteride at all. Where do you think drugs come from, the hair-restoration fairy? I wouldn't say they 'screw people for money', given how much it costs developing new drugs. Yes there's money in it for them, but it's not like they're forcing people to buy stuff.

don't really understand this dislike of merck et al. if they didnt make money off us they couldnt develop any drugs. there would be no finasteride if they hadnt had the money to develop it. you think they should just do these things out of the goodness of their heart? would you work for free?

Guys its not like I hate Merck, Im on Procar, my point is.....

Yes it costs tens of millions of dollars to produce some drugs but, Proscar has been on the mark since the early 90's, in the Uk 1mg finasteride (Merck) costs £37.60 per month, roughly £1.23 per day, 5mg finasteride (Again Merck) costs £20 per month, cut it into 5 and its £0.13 per day. Why is that? Cos Merck knows there are better BPH treatments out there, there is nothing better FDA or MHRA apporved for male pattern baldness. Hench they rape us on cost on a daily basis.

Destoriusuk - you act as if they are the only industry to act in such a fashion though. supply and demand, they have the only such product on the market and therefore can charge what they want without the pressures of competing products. any business in the same position would do the same thing, and does. the automotive, computer and beauty industries all operate in the same fashion, why is it wrong for Merck to do so? this is a vanity item after all.

what industry are you involved in?
