Prox-n and looking worse.

I have been using proxiphen-n and nano shampoo for the past 1.5 months and I have noticed over the last week or so that my hair is looking much worse. It seems to have really thinned out and is sort of dry looking. I have also been dropping alot of hairs, which may be a good thing. However, it is far too early to tell. I'm having a bad day and waking up and seeing my hair worsen is just pissing me off! Now I'm thinking I better head towards straight Proxiphen! However, the lack of positive user feed back on proxiphen is weak at best. I'm am yet to read many positive posts on proxiphen. Please correct me if I am wrong. Having a shitty day!!!!!!!

Shed

Since Nano contains "natural minoxidil" - wouldn't it induce a shed just like regular minoxidil?

I suppose there will be folks that use Nano who can comment on this.

I plan to use it as soon as it arrives in the mail.

Dr. Proctor says all his products may cause a shed just like minoxidil.

They should of course be used in conjunction with a 5AR blocker like finasteride or dutasteride.

Yeah, except some of us can't use finasteride or dutasteride. I will never put that sh*t in my body again.

ya, i agree with viperfish, there are 2 types of finasteride users -those who have problems and those who WILL have problems. i just use nano and perscription proxifen.

Hows the proxiphen working out for you? How long have you been on it? Any regrowth or thickening?

viperfish you know the score, 1.5 months is way early to judge the efficacy of your hair medication of choice, it is especially inappropriate to judge it righ in the middle of 'shed' country.

You forgot those that don't have problems?

i'll definitely use my remaining second bottle of prox-n, but...it's been almost 4 months and i see no new vellus hairs, just further thinning of receeding frontal areas. since dr proctor says that first visible results can be expected within 2-4 months, i'm starting to believe that i'm non responder :freaked:
