question about MSM

i have been noticing a lot of people recently have been taking msm to make their hair grow faster. my question is does anyone know if it makes their body hair grow faster too? i trim my chest hairs down to a 1/4 inch, or else it begins to look like a jungle. also, since using minoxidil, my facial hair grows so quickly that i need to shave every day now. does it effect the growth rate of facial hair?

Mr Fretwell, do you know if the MSM molecule is small enough to be absorbed into the scalp?

Funny that you mention it because I had that very concern when I added it to the mix but I didn't do the research . I could be wrong but I think there is a slightly different sensation upon applying the 5% min along with the msm mixed in . I had read about oz brew and others using it on the skin so I took thier use for it . I'll do a search on molecular size .DMSO is great for chemicals that are hard to penetrate the skin , perhaps adding a bit of dmso would help ? I think I'll do an experiment and add some dmso to the msm and dab a little on the scalp to experience some moderate sensation therefore proving at least with dmso the msm penetrates .
