Question for Proxiphen users

No college, the lef Prox-n is still cheaper, even if you're not a member of lef.org

I'm not the least bit surprised by that response.

I explicity referred to his looking at scalps through an electron microscope (like Uno did for the HISTOPATHOLOGY OF HAIRLOSS).

How would you look at a scalp with an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE (and what good would that do)?? Do you mean he looked at a biopsy specimen from a scalp under a microscope?

I wish Stephen could email the guy, but Proctor is always very brief in his responses. But hell, he probably gets 100 emails a day.

I doubt he would spend any amount of time on oddball theories, except to say that there's no evidence for them.

I feel prox-N with plain'ol spironolactone would be about as good as using minoxidil with the prox-N. The pryidne-N oxides and NANO stimultate Nitric Oxide and minoxidil is a Nitric Oxide agonist (mimics it). So if one used Prox-N.............I dont know how much more of a boost minoxidil might give em.

Well, Dr. Proctor has mentioned on alt.baldspot in the past that there may well be a synergistic effect from using NANO and minoxidil together. He once alluded to some Italian study supposedly demonstrating that, but I've never been able to track that one down. If that really is true, it might be a good idea to use both.

where did you read that lef.org is a weaker version? it is not advertized as week on lef.org, and i can't find a reference to this on http://www.drproctor.com.

It's something that he's talked about for YEARS on alt.baldspot. However, I should mention here that a few people don't believe that claim. They think that ALL versions of Prox-N are exactly the same, whether they come from LEF or straight from Dr. Proctor himself. Personally, I tend to accept what Dr. Proctor says about it.

and if I use proxiphen cream on my hairline and below it in the morning after a shower, will it look funny if i leave it on and go to class? I'd probably use 3 or at most 4 drops.

At least in _my_ own case, Proxiphen cream blends in just fine with my skin. I suppose that has to do with both its own natural color (flesh-colored), and the fact that it absorbs easily. Shortly after I apply it to my hairline area, it's not at all obvious that there's anything there. YMMV.

also, how easy is it to get just one drop out of the proxiphen cream vial?

You stick your finger down into the vial and lightly touch the cream inside. If you're careful, you can get as much or as little as you want on the tip of your finger.
