Lol that sounds like total multitasking and quite genius actually!

Although I would prefer a threesome while I work on the computer. Tried to have sex once while I work on the computer, it sucks.

Buckthorn, you mean like this? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/VTw05FZ3dAA/maxresdefault.jpg

That's sweet!! A stationary bike stand works too I guess. What I have is just a simple exercise bike like this - http://www.amazon.com/Marcy-NS652-F...qid=1459461876&sr=1-15&keywords=exercise+bike

It's foldable and light, but super durable. I am rehabbing a torn tendon right now (why I am on here so much, lol)... so I'll just set up on this thing and play ps3 when I need exercise, and lift weights. All i can do right now really.

So Swoop, you do agree that 0.25 mg of finasteride is strong enough to supress DHT levels (in scalp and hair follicles) to slow the balding process. 0.25 mg of finasteride contain enough finasteride molecules to block DHT in scalp and skin, but in same time to not block all DHT in other parts of the body like brain and so on.

So there is no need to use 1mg dose which is recommended by MERCK. Would people have almost same results with 1mg and 0.25 mg of finasteride ? Why don't more people use that dose ?

Well data of two studies shows that 0.2mg a day is effective. The one I posted and also this study; http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15319158.

0.2mg is just less effective than 1mg but that doesn't mean that 0.2mg can't do the job.

ok... but do you believe that 0.25 mg is close in efficacy as 1 mg. I mean supression is not linear.

If that graph is really true, then people should use 0.25 mg dose to save the money or to avoid sides since finasteride inhibits other enzymes not just 5ard-II, but also 5ard-I and other neurosteroids in certain way.

Not necessarily Vincent, it may simply
mean you have a great eye for classical beauty.
I put Swoop's abs on my desktop background. Does this make me gay?

This. If lowering DHT is culprit of side effects, dose doesnt matter. With enough applications of even 0,05mg a day you will get at least 50% inhbition long term = sides.

. Dr. Goldstein claims that they can draw cerebral spinal fluid through spinal tap on somebody on or off finasteride and show that substance like allopregnanolone doesn't exist in the brain. He lists all the things that finasteride blocks in the body, starting from 21:32 min. On 23:15 he mentions that finasteride blocks allopregnanolone.

That's what I ask. If dose 0.25 mg inhibits the same DHT level in scalp as 1 mg then the effect would be the same regarding hair regrowth. But maybe 1 mg block more DHT in brain and also other enzymes all over the body. And you get low libido from low DHT level in your brain, muscles, and penis, not from low DHT level in scalp anf hair follicles.

i just saw the graph ; so if 1 mg produces better haircount than 0,2 mg . does this mean 5 mg will have a better haircount than 1 mg ?

Of course, since whatever dose you play with (specially in your scheme - high decrease of DHT at the beginning), you will end up to the same 0 level of DHT in your body. It's just a matter of time.
One way would be to take low doses on MWF for instance as you will probably never reach the 0 level or maybe it would take 25 years.

No but 1mg works for more people than 0.25. Therefore the average haircount in the studies is higher. You could add dutasteride, instead of upping the finasteride dose.

There is no real evidence behind it, because very few ppl are really documenting their story, but for some progesterone also helped in addition to finasteride, possibly because of too high estrogen.
