I hear eveyone talk about adult hairlines, and I was wondering if someone at twenty three can just develop their adult hairline and the recession will stop. The right side of my hairline is very strong and has not changed since what I had at age like 15. But, my right side is moving back some. I have alot of hair it is all just fine. But it has been like that my whole life. Is it possible to receed on one side and not the other?

Yes to all your questions. The best way to determine your adult hairline is to take a look at your dad, your grandpa, and your uncles. See who's hairline best resembles what your's might look like in the future. However, if male pattern baldness runs in your family, I would bet dollars for donuts that you have it. Do some homework before jumping on anything though.

My Dad is 52 and has pretty much all of his hair. Just normal aging. One of my uncles on my dads side lost his hair at age forty five. My third uncle the youngest (now 48) has all of his. My mom was adopted so who knows on that side. I think my hair is like the youngest because his is fine like mine and the same color, but, who really knows. Thanks for the advice stingray.
