Questions about oral minoxidil and where to buy in the UK

Hey guys, I’m looking to add oral minoxidil to my regime but I don’t really know anything about it and I have some question. Like, do I replace topical minoxidil with oral or do I use them alongside one another? What dosage do I take? Does anyone know of a reputable stockist that I can get it from in the UK? Any just any other important info I might need to know?

I believe Oral Minoxidil requires a prescription in the UK. I was able to get one after talking to a dermatologist and my primary doctor/general physician but Im in the US. (see here https://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/intera...f-oral-minoxidil-as-a-treatment.133356/page-2 )

But its also not a controlled substance AFIAK so you could probably order it from AllDayChemist ( https://www.alldaychemist.com/lonitab-5-mg.html ) or GoodStuffStore ( https://www.goodstuffstore.net/store/Loxidil-5-mg-2-boxes-p176736972 )

GoodStuffStore is arguably cheaper. ($37 for 200 5mg tablets versus $68 for 90 5mg tablets)

I have read that both of these sites are legit but I think its better to go through a doctor just in case. Even though its a low dosage, its still started as a hypertension drug.

Hi Negative user, read again oral minoxidil is not approved for the United Kingdom and will remain unlicensed in the United kingdom until more larger and sophisticated studies are carried out. Also why don’t you find a reputable source who will ship to the UK and I would happily purchase, until then you will remain the typical negative forum user behind a keyboard bashing others who have helped contribute wide options. Here's the pharmacy I use. No prescription needed, inexpensive and they use Trichofoam/Trichosol instead of the creams that Murray Avenue uses which don't penetrate the scalp. Jai hind!

The website looks shady and their is no 15% minoxidil, also to add they are selling prescription medication without prescription which is ILLEGAL and will probably be shut down in time just Like Dr Lee for selling medication without prescription. The pharmacy in Italy Farmaciaparati that Hasson and Wong use don’t even sell their Topical mixtures without prescription. So this website you provided is 100% shady, I would never trust ordering from a source that sells medication without prescription.

So find me a legit source that sells the following mixture please,

15% Minoxidil
5% Azelaic Acid
0.1% Finasteride
0.25% Progesterone
0.025% Tretinoin
0.1% Hydocortisone.

It's in Andorra (not part of the EU) so a script is unnecessary. They will also custom make a topical for you if you ask. Any formulation from MAA which contains minoxidil above 5% is in a cream base which doesn't penetrate the scalp. So you can stop shilling and go back to making money as a chai walllah.

I think your the one shilling, recommending a shady website that sells medication without prescription. The Belgravia clinic in London just like Murray Avenue Apothecary sell 12.5% minoxidil + 5% Azelaic Acid CREAM base and works highly effectively with patient feedback…... So stop talking NONSENSE you need to have your facts right, any minoxidil over 5% has to be done in CREAM form and not liquid due to the crystal breakdown. That’s why shady places like the one you recommend never get things right and high end reputable places use CREAM base with client feedback and success as proof , have a good day shady negative user.
